Victoria: The City of Dream Cars.

My Thanksgiving reading week in Victoria, B.C. was filled with long overdue visits to dear friends, new friends, old friends, turkey, wine and pie. It was also filled with cars. So many gorgeous CARS! I spent most of my time wandering, guided only by glimpses of the sun reflecting on the next parked 1990 Jeep Cherokee or Westfalia van. I took detours down every car-lined street. Usually, I would rant about how cars in the 21st century ruin the landscape, but not in Victoria BC.  To top it off, each of my dream cars was also almost always in front of a dream house. This trip definitely made me think about how much (or little) money my dream job will make me. And that I should start learning how to convert old gas engines to electric motors because I think most of my dream cars are killing the planet. Or start making friends in mechanical engineering. But before all that I should probably start by getting my driver's license.
